I can ring in the New Year with the best of them. It is, after all, the best day of the whole entire year! This year was a little different, and we decided to keep things low key with the kids at home. We had a simple dinner out with family and picked up some desserts and beverages at Whole Foods afterwards, then headed back to the house. The best thing about versatile pieces from a capsule wardrobe? They are so easy to dress up or down, depending on the occasion and with the right accessories.
This studded gray sweater is comfy, but has a little bling to keep things fun! Especially for a night out.
If you’ve ever seen me running around in actual clothes (doubtful), I keep things pretty simple. I’ll even admit I’m a bit afraid of the “A” word. Yep, “accessories”. I plan on experimenting with them a little bit more with the capsule wardrobe, just to keep things fresh (jewelry items don’t count as my 48), still I think there is beauty in simplicity and not over-doing it. The capsule isn’t supposed to be boring, but it is supposed to help simplify your life. There is a balance.
